Our Mission

Recognizing barbecue as America’s cuisine, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) honors the dedication and sacrifices of veterans in and around the United States. The mission of the VFW is to celebrate, support, and advocate for those who have served while fostering community and camaraderie among veterans and their families. Just as barbecue brings people together, the VFW is committed to preserving the legacy of service and promoting the welfare of all veterans.

How does the event aim to bring the community together?

To bring various vendors, sponsors, community leaders, and veteran organizations and present them with a special place to share and experience comradery and shared goals

What cause, organization, or initiative does the fundraising support?

Our fundraising efforts primarily benefit the United Service Organizations (USO), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Congressionally Chartered organization dedicated to strengthening America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country. Additional support also goes to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Colorado and other local veteran organizations that are committed to serving those who have served.
