The Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying barbeque, and is one of the world’s largest organizations of barbeque and grilling enthusiasts with over 16,000 members worldwide. 

Recognizing barbeque as America’s Cuisine, the mission of the Kansas City Barbeque Society is to celebrate, teach, preserve, and promote barbeque as a culinary technique, sport, and art form.

KCBS sanctions over 400 barbecue contests worldwide.  From volunteering to actual event products, our members also assist civic and charitable organizations organize events.
